The stay was fantastic with a home-like vibe, especially appreciated the spacious room which was perfect for our family. Being located near historic surroundings made exploring places like Chion-in and Nishiki Market easy and enjoyable. The kitchen amenities were great for quick meals, and having an in-suite washing machine was a lifesaver after our long days out. However, the check-in process could be a bit clunky with the QR codes involved, so maybe a little prep before arrival helps.

The stay at Minn Gion felt welcoming. Spacious rooms exceeded my expectations, perfect for lounging after a day out. The location, just a few minutes from the Sanjo subway exit, made traveling around Kyoto effortless. I particularly liked how clean and tidy the environment remained. Having a washer in the Executive Suite added to the convenience. it’s a real lifesaver when traveling with family. The hot water took longer to warm up than I preferred, but it was manageable. I noticed a few amenities could be improved, like providing basic kitchen supplies such as spices since the kitchen was well equipped otherwise. Also, the check-in process was slightly cumbersome as it involved using a mobile phone for QR codes, which might be an adjustment for some guests, but staff were always present to assist with our questions. Overall, the living space was delightfully comfortable, allowing us to relax in style.

My recent stay was made even better by being just a few steps from amazing restaurants and only a short walk to the beautiful Shoren-in temple and the vibrant Nishiki Market, making it easy to explore this fascinating city on foot. the room was spacious and comfy, perfect for relaxing after a day of wandering around kyoto's stunning landmarks.

Staying in Gion was a blast! The local dining scene is poppin’, with Gion Komori and Sushi Izakaya Yataizushi just steps away. The best part? We scored a super spacious room with tatami beds that added an authentic touch for my fam. Plus, the easy check-in made our arrival smooth sailing.

Yet, I must say, the hot water was a bit of a diva—took a while to warm up and kept shifting around. Also, they skimped on some amenities like cotton buds, but it honestly didn’t dim our shine!

Minn Gion offers an incredible space with a kitchenette that's well-equipped for family meals, including a microwave and a refrigerator. The room was spacious and could easily accommodate our family’s needs, making it a perfect base for exploring the vibrant Gion area, with a Family Mart right next door for all our snack attacks.
